What're the Benefits of Having Custom Branded Cones?

Posted by Custom Cones USA on Aug 8th 2018

We live in a social media age, where sharing content like photos is an integral part of everyday life. The power of social media really shines through when you look at the actual volume of content produced every single minute. Just on instagram alone over 46,000 photos are posted every single minute. People share their daily lives to all their friends and followers. A single post can reach hundreds if not thousands of potential customers.

Society today is powered by social media. Sharing your media is an integral part of business, and more importantly, life. The impact that social media has had on the world is unbelievable. Currently, there are over 25 million businesses on instagram, with over 100 million photos being posted everyday by all users. With an emerging market such as the cannabis industry, unique, eye-catching social media content is vital to the health of a consumer brand. On the other hand, making marketable products that consumers will want to post about is just as important when expanding your brand. This especially rings true with pre-roll brands.

When customers leave the store with your pre-roll, they're transporting your brand for you. If the product suits their needs, they're probably going to make some sort of social media post about it. Are you prepared for that?

For pre-rolls, the filter tip is the easiest way to push your brand. If you were to use unbranded pre-rolled cones, or ones with another companies logo on the tip, you're losing out on vital social media exposure. You may not think it matters, but when customers go to take pictures of themselves on Instagram smoking your pre-roll, no one will know it's yours! Here are some prime examples taken straight from Instagram:

a hand holding a pre-roll with a RAW branded filter

Whose pre-roll is this yours or RAW? The customer didn't write it in their description so how is anyone supposed to know this has your premium quality flower in it? Or where you would go to get this pre-roll?

Again, same thing. Is this your pre-roll or is this Futurola's pre rolled cone? You don't want to be advertising someone else's brand...

Great picture taken by a customer but whose joint is this? Where is your brand. If the customer is too lazy to tag you, all their friends who smoke would never know where to get this pre-roll.

Almost but not quite. Customer's may have good intentions to include your brand in their photos but sometimes they don't get it quite right. Even though your packaging is in the picture, the brand name didn't quite make it in. It is important to have your brand name repeated in as many places as possible so customer's and their friends are reminded of your brand!

It is a great picture but many people on instagram just scroll right through not looking at the names of the users who post the picture or the description for the picture. So they may like the photo but there is no branding, they don't really know where it came from. It could be anyone's pre-roll for all they care.

Now thats more like it... This person wanted to have a nice stroll through the park with their freshly bought pre-roll. She shows off the joint and the brand name to all her friends. Now next time those friends go into the store and see your packaging or merchandising, they will have familiarity with the brand.

Creating  Custom Branded Pre-Rolled Cones is simply a necessity in today's social-media driven consumer market. As evidenced by the pictures above, when a brand opts to cut costs and use unbranded cones or someone else's brand, they're losing out on potential exposure to other consumers. Someone close to them introduced the brand to them, so they trust the quality and experience of your product. As they say, a picture says 1000 words.
